- The upcoming Music and Advertising conference, which has picked up another sponsor in the form of Music Dealers, is coming up later this month in Chicago, and they’ve begun profiling the panelists. If you’re a band that’s serious about licensing your music, and you live nearby, you should probably pony up the money to go: the list of companies that’s going to be there is absolutely insane.
- Billboard has published a list of four things that will perk the music industry up, and it’s…interesting.
- uPlaya is looking for a band to play at something called Future Media Fest, which will take place in Atlanta on October 5. There’s no pay (surprise, surprise), but the folks at uPlaya are framing it as a prime networking and educational opportunity.
