  • As an independent artist, you would want your music to be available on a platform where people are seeking independent music. eMusic, the top digital independent music store, will no longer carry arguably the top three indies: Merge, Domino, and Beggars Group. Ouch.
  • Not sure what radio stations you should promote your music to? A possible new tool to help is Song Search Technology from RadioTime, which lets you search, in real time, for songs or artists that are playing on any given radio station. This could definitely help open the floodgates of potential radio stations to solicit for your music.
