Our regular readers know that we’re big fans of the artist promotion and management platform known as Guguchu. So we’re stoked to hear that they’ve launched a fully customizable line of widgets for artists and managers.
According to today’s press release, the widgets offer all the standard features most web-savvy musicians have come to expect – easy set-up, one-click sharing on big sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz and Tumblr, secure and high-quality music streams.
But much like its parent service, the Guguchu widget sets itself apart from competitors by giving its users much more detailed information about the people using their widgets. Widget creators and managers can track the movement of their widgets across the web, thereby enabling them to identify early adopters and influential fans more efficiently. They can also determine the geographic location of the widget users to allocate their marketing resources more efficiently.
It’s not the first widget for musicians out there, but Guguchu’s always been more interested in getting it right than getting there first, and there widget continues that trend beautifully.
